Thanks to Holly at Decor8 for turning me on to DaWanda! It's like Euro Etsy with some pretty amazing artists already setting up shop. Tonight I'm just browsing Porcelain, Glass and Pottery to see if there is anything I must have.
I simply adore this Moongazing Hare. This is definitely going on my Anniversary Wish List. Made from fused glass, these Flower Coasters (set of 4) feature rich brown and cream tones. For something more exotic, check out the intricate, hand-painted Thai Benjarong Jar.
Visit DaWanda when you get a chance. As more artists are added each day, you will simply not be able to leave the site empty handed!
I recently received a gift box with the Waterford label and had a brief panic attack. Picturing some cut-crystal, ornate candlesticks inside the box, but not wanting to offend the family members who purchased it, I put on my best face of excitement and opened the box. You can imagine my surprise to find a piece of Waterford's Evolution line, and I was more than pleased. Each piece is mouth blown and hand finished. The line is represented by free-form shapes and bold colors. Here are some pieces I find worthy of collecting: Evolution Platter & Vase

Just counting the days (15 to go) until our new Alba Alarm Clock arrives. It took awhile to find a clock we both agreed on: my husband wanted big, old-school red numbers, I wanted a more sleek design. Finally, this limited edition clock by Furni fit the bill. We were even able to sample the alarm sound online, a great idea considering that is the first sound we will hear each and every morning.
Fortunately it's all just a memory now. The RV trip was just an experiment, and one we won't be repeating. Our fine feathered friends, however, just might like the RV life. I just found these darling 5th Wheel Birdhouses at Uncommon Goods. Maybe I can park one down at the screen house for any migrating visitors coming our way!
Just back from a breathtakingly beautiful week in Colorado, I opened an email from Inhabit featuring their new botanical prints. I am a big fan of Foliage and Bamboo.Keep in mind the free shipping on any order over $200. That should make adding a few new pieces much easier.
